Collect data you can stand behind.

Publish forms as campaigns, know who answered, keep a receipt for every consent, and ask your responses questions in plain words. Built for India's data protection law, in English and Hindi, with an MCP server for the AI client you already use.

No card. Publish a campaign in the first hour.

The honest comparison

A free form stops at the form

Google Forms is free, and for a quick poll it is the right choice. The trouble starts when the answers matter: when someone asks where consent was recorded, when a survey has to close on a date, when only your members may answer, when the export needs a week of cleanup. HostMyForms is built for that part.

The full comparison with Google Forms

Four things a form tool usually leaves to you

Consent, security, search, and depth. Each is built in, tested, and documented in the open.

Consent

Prove consent, not just collect it

Every grant and withdrawal writes a receipt naming the notice version, the language shown, and the purposes that changed. Receipts chain to the one before, so a gap or an edit shows. Respondents get a private link to see, withdraw, download, or erase their answers.

Per-purpose notices in English and the 22 Eighth Schedule languages.

Security

One backend decides everything

Authorization, validation, and business rules live in one place. Web, mobile, and AI clients only call the API, so nothing bypasses a rule. Roles are checked on every request, tokens can never hold more than the person who made them, and every save is in the audit log.

Exactly one platform admin, on its own host, never reachable with an API token.

Read the security model

Search

Ask your responses a question

Type "late delivery complaints" or "unhappy customers on the business plan" and get the responses that mean that, however they were phrased. Choice questions are answered exactly, by value. Free text is ranked by meaning, in English, Hindi, or Hinglish.

19 of 20 evaluation queries pass on a 200-response sample.

Forms

A builder with real depth

Nine field types and twenty-four widgets, visibility rules, calculated fields, cross-field validation, repeatable sections, options from your own master data, and four page templates. Labels in any language, switched by the respondent.

Every rule runs the same in the browser, on the server, and over MCP.

From a blank form to a searchable dataset

  1. 01

    Draft the form

In the playground, in the workspace, or from Claude, Codex, or Cursor over MCP. One contract validates it everywhere, so a draft an agent saved opens without errors.

  2. 02

    Publish a campaign

Pick a one-time, dated, open-ended, or periodic schedule, who may answer, and how many times. Publishing freezes the form version; later edits never change a live campaign.

  3. 03

Share a QR code or link

Respondents answer on their phone, in their language, with a guided template that checks each step before the next opens. Consent is asked per purpose, with a receipt.

  4. 04

    Read, search, export

Trends and funnels update with every response. Ask the answers a question. Export to CSV or Excel that opens clean, or let a scheduled report land in your inbox.

MCP server

Your AI client drafts. You publish.

Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, or Cursor connects by signing in through your browser, never by pasting a token. It receives a token capped by your own role, saves only drafts that pass validation, and has no publish tool at all. Nothing it does can reach a live campaign.

Hosted access is being finished. Today the MCP endpoint runs against a workspace on your own machine.

A receipt for every consent

Every grant and withdrawal names the notice version, the language shown, and the purposes that changed, and chains to the one before. If a regulator asks where consent is recorded, this is what you show.

New, and open about it

HostMyForms has no customer logos to show you yet. What it has is a live demo you can answer from your phone, a playground that is the real editor, and every engineering decision published in the open, including the ones that say what is not built. Try it, then book a walkthrough and bring your hardest form.

Scan with a phone

Scan the code and answer a real campaign

The demo campaign is a wholesale produce order that uses every field type, calculated totals, validation, and English and Hindi. It is the same page your own respondents would open from a poster.

Coming next

What is on the roadmap

  • SMS one-time codes

Verify account holders and respondents by mobile, and run campaigns only your mobile list can answer.

  • AI inside the app

Starting with translation: turn a form and its notices into another language in one step, then review.

Questions people ask first

Is HostMyForms a Google Forms alternative?

For teams whose answers matter, yes. It adds what a free form lacks: campaign schedules, audiences, per-purpose consent with receipts, server-side rules on a frozen version, clean exports, and search by meaning. For a quick internal poll, Google Forms is still the right tool.

Does it work in Hindi and other Indian languages?

Form labels, options, and validation messages are localized per form, and respondents switch language at the top of the page. Consent notices are supported in English and the 22 Eighth Schedule languages. Semantic search understands English, Hindi, and Hinglish answers.

What does the MCP server let an AI client do?

Read forms, draft and edit them, validate and preview a configuration, duplicate, archive, and restore, and look up master data. Twelve tools in all. There is no publish tool, so an agent can never make a form live.

Where is my data stored, and does anything leave India?

Responses live in PostgreSQL and an S3-compatible store operated for the hosted service. If semantic search is on, answer text is sent to Voyage AI for embedding, processed in the United States under zero-day retention. Search is optional and the notice says so.

What does it cost?

Pricing is not published yet. Create a workspace to try it, or book a walkthrough and we will talk through what your team collects.
